Regina Oppon, a resident of Fort McMurray and a family friend of the Davies setup this GoFundMe campaign to assist the Davies family with the funeral expenses and the welfare of the twins left behind by the sudden death of their mother Mrs. Patience Cole-Davies
Lawrence Davies, a resident of Fort McMurray lost his wife Mrs. Patience Cole Davies, who had just delivered Twins (Boy/Girl) on February 26th, 2019. Lawrence is originally from Sierra Leone; his wife Mrs. Cole Davies arrived in Canada, last April to join her husband; complications after the birth of her twins lead to her death. According to Lawrence Davies, who was courageous enough to explain their ordeal, his wife delivered their twin children on February 26, 2019 and later suffered complications; Lawrence rushed her twice to Emergency department of the hospital, Patience was discharged after treatments and sent home. The complications continued and on Sunday, March 10; the situation got more serious; Lawrence rushed her again to the Emergency Hospital where he noted the Doctors/Nurses and Paramedics did everything they could but to no avail. He painfully watched his loving wife succumbed to fate and died at about 07:00am. Lawrence Davies is now left with two major tasks; to bury his wife. Mrs. Patience Cole Davies, who hails from the Gambia. And secondly, to raise the two-weeks-old twins all by himself in Fort McMurray with no family member in Canada. His Mom lives in the United States of America (USA) and is not keeping too well. Funeral cost is expensive, and childcare comes with its own challenges. Your help towards this distressed family will be much appreciated. All monies raised from this campaign will be forwarded to Lawrence Davies through a bank transfer.
