Help Lawrence Arriaga Through His Very Difficult Time

Lawrence Arriaga Needs Help Again., August 2024

I am humbled to be asking for any help. This is a very difficult time for my family and I. A few years ago, I went through a very scary time in which my right leg was amputated due to a very severe Staph infection. I was doing well going through rehabilitation and being able to walk again with my prosthetic leg. Last month (July 2024), something broke loose in my body and caused me to have three strokes in three different parts of my brain. These strokes were severe enough that I have vision loss and short term memory loss/confusion. In my current condition, I am no longer able to fulfill the duties of a school teacher. Therefore, I had to make the very difficult decision to step down as a school teacher.

I am kindly asking for any help not for myself, but for my family. My wife, Nadia, and I have two special needs children who are both medically diagnosed as “Moderate to Severe” on the Autism Spectrum. We struggle to provide for them with me down.

Anyone who knows me would know that I am very humbled to be asking for help. I am a very proud man who was very powerful and now I am broken.
