Hi! I am trying to help raise money for a first-year law student whose house completely flooded during finals this week. Unfortunately, her renter's insurance does not cover flooding, and a lot of her stuff was ruined. If that wasn't bad enough, her house was broken into last night, and some of her remaining salvageable belongings were stolen. I cannot imagine going through such a stressful event as a first year law student in the midst of finals. When it rains it pours (no pun intended)!
As her facebook post explains, "The flooding in Fayetteville provided for an exciting 3:30 am wake up to find the entire house flooded. By the time essentials were gathered the water was too high to evacuate. We were luckier than we could’ve been because, not far from us, 60 people had to be evacuated by boat!! Flooding was scarier than expected, and of course it had to happen right in the middle of my finals. Could definitely use prayers/good vibes sent our way. The dogs may never go outside when it’s raining again."
Please consider donating any amount to help her replace her things, clean up her house, and have peace of mind during such a stressful time. Law school is stressful enough without being displaced from your house and having your belongings ruined and/or stolen in the middle of the most stressful time of the semester. Thank you!!
