My name is Laurie, and earlier this month I went through a medical emergency that turned my life upside down. I became very sick and could not stop vomiting for three days. When I finally went to the ER, a CT scan revealed that I had appendicitis. I was scheduled for an emergency appendectomy on 1/9/2026, and unfortunately, I experienced some complications after the surgery that made my recovery even more difficult.

Because of this, I am now facing a stack of medical bills from my hospital stay and surgery. On top of that, I haven’t been able to work, so I’m struggling to pay my regular bills and keep up with daily expenses. It’s been overwhelming, both physically and financially, and I’m doing my best to focus on healing while trying to figure out how to manage everything.

It feels strange to ask strangers for help, but I know I need assistance and I would be extremely grateful for any support.
