Hi all. We are starting this fundraiser because on Tuesday July 20th my Mom’s headache was diagnosed as a brain tumor at Kaiser Moreno Valley Hospital. Laurie was immediately transferred to Kaiser San Diego for additional scans that resulted in emergency brain surgery on Saturday July 24th.

She has all her functionality and memory! She came through surgery with flying colors and is now on the road to recovery! Speech is a bit delayed, but the neurologist said that is to be expected after surgery. She has been having intermittent waves of pain, but was just recently able to find a medication that has her feeling the best she’s felt since surgery!

We are now preparing for how long her recovery could be, which is guesstimated to be between 3-6 months. Any help with filling in the gap between now and when Laurie can get back to work will be greatly appreciated.
