Tonight, as I write this...I am officially stranded at a Rest Area with no car.

Throughout my life, being plagued by several challenges, I've tried to be self-reliant. Feels like when get 1 step ahead, I end up 2 steps back.

Now, I desperately need help.

I moved to New York a few months ago hoping to make a fresh start. I landed what I thought was a great job and unexpectedly was laid off in July. This resulted me falling behind on my car payments.

Today, my worst nightmare happened. A repo tow truck towed my car away. I was planning on making the payments as soon as I started working again. Unfortunately, I have been applying but nothing yet. Also filed for Unemployment but still haven't received an ok from them.

This was not only my car but also my home as I could not afford a place.

As I sit here in this foreign state's Rest Area in tears....

I am asking, from the bottom of my heart..if you can help me get my car/home back...I would be forever thankful and grateful.
