Give A Hand: Helping Laurie Come Home

Many of you know and love Laurie Van Annan. Recently, her life changed in an instant when she suffered a stroke that left her partially paralyzed. She is strong, determined, and fighting every day—but right now, her home is not set up for her new reality.

Laurie lives in a two-story house that isn’t wheelchair accessible. To be able to live safely and with dignity, she needs critical home modifications—such as ramps, accessible bathroom changes, and a way to navigate her home. She is still in rehab, but needs to have her home accessible for her to be able to return and Medicare approval is still months away.

This fundraiser is our way to give a hand—to help her regain independence, comfort, and the ability to truly come home.
