Hello! My mother Laurie Putnam was able to receive a new kidney through the generosity of organ donation! Now that the surgery is over, the road to recovery is proving more costly than we anticipated. My mom has to be driven twice a week for the next six weeks to Seattle to the UW Medical Center for Post transplant care. With the rising costs of gas, parking and her new medication regiment the bills are adding up fast! Estimated gas cost for one round trip is 25$, one week of medication has cost $340 (after medicare ) and parking is 10$ a visit.
