Help Seth Rest at Ease

Donation protected
Seth has been fighting a difficult fight against a rugged illness. As some of you may know from being friends with Seth or his family, he was diagnosed with cirrhosis and some other minor illnesses 8 years ago, and it has been a rough 8 years for him and his family. He has had many doctor's appointments, medical procedures, and lab tests. Through this, he continued to fight, and his family fought alongside him. As straining as it may have been financially, emotionally, and physically, they never gave up on him. Even if he was ready to give up on himself, they wouldn't allow him to quit. His mother, Laurie, was his biggest supporter, and she pushed him to keep going long after he was ready to stop. The position Laurie was in as a mom was to help her son, and she did that in every way she could. This caused Laurie to miss work for significant periods of time while he needed to have around-the-clock care due to the illness or, even worse, when he was in the ICU.

Seth was most recently admitted into the hospital in the ICU. His body was giving up even though his family wasn't ready to stop fighting because they wanted to keep Seth here with us. Unfortunately, he was not able to fight it anymore, and he passed away, ending another ICU stay on 8/22/2025.

Today, I am asking for financial help to bring Seth home. His mother is planning on having him cremated, but the funds are not available at the moment due to the amount of work missed mixed with the cost to keep her home afloat. Every donation helps get us closer to the amount we need to pay for the cremation and help with any other bills that have accumulated, causing undue stress on the family. If you can't donate, I understand times are difficult. Please share this in hopes someone you know might be able to help.

I ask you to think about him and the role he played in your life. Seth was a brother, son, uncle, father, and friend that would have given anything he could to help others, so please consider helping his family in these trying times.
