Our dear friend and colleague, single Mom, and Maven of Miracles, member of Destiny By Design since 2017, Lauren Savage has made her transition on August 04, 2020 after a long, warrior’s fight with cancer. Surrounded by her family and biggest fan, 9 year old daughter, Leilani, Lauren journeyed home with peace and ease.
As many of you have, I had the great joy of meeting Lauren at Destiny By Design-Live Event in 2017. Lauren had been a follower of Thach’s motivation and formulas for creating success through real estate investment. She took those formulas home near Chicago and successfully completed her first flip, even while enduring treatment.
Lauren told me that she had set aside her career aspirations of becoming an actress, when she chose to caretake her mom who had a form of MS. Along with her sister, brother, and dad, they made it their focus to make sure mom received her best care at home, until her passing in 2019. Lauren never gave up her Big Dream to enjoy financial freedom for she and her daughter, to create affordable housing especially for single moms to have their fresh starts; that they too can know that anything is possible when you DREAM BIG. She began this work of passion in 2017 with the encouragement of the Destiny By Design programs and members.
Let’s contribute to realizing Lauren’s Destiny by Design
Your gift will go directly to the Leilani S. Crawford Special Needs Trust to help pay for Leilani’s everyday expenses. Leilani’s beneficiary is Ashley Savage, Lauren’s sister, whom I have come to know and love over the years. Aunty Ashley will be caring for Leilani as her own. Ashley is an RN, with a successful medical supply company near Chicago. Their love for each other is immeasurable.
Lauren and I enjoyed many conversations through the years. She said she was so appreciative of the DBD Community. When she was sideways, feeling stalled or unmotivated, she would immediately read several of your posts in our Facebook group to feel an immediate shift into positivity, hope, laughter, and support. She said that writing her AID helped her have a better mindset because sharing her words with people whom she felt encouragement from was better than medicine.
Let this be a tribute to Lauren’s legacy; that her young life has left an everlasting impression of kindness, compassion for all, and to joyfully follow what kept her soul’s light to shine; that your Destiny CAN be lived by the design that when you help others, you reap unstoppable rewards.
Thank you in advance for your generosity, for sharing your love on Lauren and Leilani.
I am honored to be Lauren’s friend.
