Help Lauren Transition After Tragic Loss

I am organizing a fundraiser for my very dear friend Lauren Baker and her 11 month old son Solomon aka "Solly." Lauren and her Fiancé, Grady Stickles, welcomed Solly 11 months ago and tragically, Grady passed away last weekend. The loss of Grady is enormous. He was loved deeply by Lauren, Solly, and all of us. He leaves behind two other children, Earth (Marley) and Lily, and a huge network of family and friends.

People have been asking how they can help. Lauren and Solly's most pressing need is financial support. Lauren is planning to return to work after Solly's first birthday. She was about to begin the search for a job and childcare so it will take time for Lauren to start bringing in money. Our financial support while she looks for a job and coordinates childcare will ease some of her stress in a tragic situation. It will give her time to grieve and transition emotionally into being away from Solly while she works.

Grady was paying most of the bills for their household and he did not have life insurance. Lauren has very little savings left.
