As some may know, I have been blessed enough to have been invited on a once-in-a-lifetime trip for a 10-day immersive doula program in the region of Cotacachi in northern Ecuador.
This program (Wombs of the World) focuses on gathering a small group of birth professionals from around the world to soak up the knowledge of Pachamama and learn from the traditional birth keepers/indigenous midwives in the region.
Our main intention is to support indigenous midwives and preserve their sacred ancestral knowledge, with a concentration on postpartum care, herbal medicine, vertical birth, and ceremony.
Those who know me know I have dreamed of being a midwife since I was a little girl & the thought of being immersed in these midwives' world for ten days is absolutely exhilarating!
This all happened very suddenly though, with only a month and a bit of notice, leaving me almost no time to actually save up. So I took on extra shifts, an extra job, and have been working between 60 & 75 hours a week trying to make this happen. I have managed to cover all of my flights but still have a ways to go and only a few weeks left to do it. So here I am, asking for your help to make this dream a reality.

Your donations would help cover things like: Lodging, Transportation, Meals, Birth Workshops & Ceremonies
