Help Support Lauren as She Saves Her Mom’s Life

Hi, my name is Cynthia Becvar, and I’m reaching out with a full heart and a hopeful spirit. I’m currently facing end-stage liver disease, and by what can only be described as a miracle, my daughter Lauren has stepped forward to become my living liver donor.

Lauren recently completed all her medical testing and passed with flying colors. We are now preparing for transplant surgery in early August at UPMC in Pittsburgh. As you can imagine, this journey is emotionally and physically intense—but also financially overwhelming.

This GoFundMe is to help cover living expenses for Lauren and our family during our stay in Pittsburgh. We’ll be there for nearly two months. Funds will go toward:

• Housing near the hospital Airbnb

• Food and daily essentials

• Transportation flights NC to Pittsburgh

• Lost wages for Lauren during recovery.
