Dear friends and kind-hearted individuals,
Our dear friend, Lauren, has recently faced a life-altering accident that has left her in a challenging and painful situation. She suffered a terrible fall in which she dislocated her shoulder and shattered both of her arms.
As a result, Lauren’s arms and both hands have severe nerve damage causing a significant loss of function. She has undergone multiple surgeries and the road to recovery is long and demanding. Nerve treatment and rehab can last several months and her orthopedic surgeons have noted that future surgery will most likely be needed to restore full function. As a result, Lauren is currently unable to work and is facing financial hardship to pay her bills, medical expenses, and maintain her daily needs. This unexpected setback has left her feeling overwhelmed, and she’s in need of our support to get through this difficult time. Lauren has been in the hospital or rehabilitation facility for an agonizing 6+ weeks, where she has been receiving critical medical care and physical/occupational therapy treatments. Unfortunately, her insurance coverage is limited and she desperately needs to continue her rehabilitation and healing.
