Lauren has always been a light in her community—a creative spirit, a kind soul, and someone who gives so much of herself to others. In Lake Tahoe, she’s known not just as a talented jewelry designer and artist, but as someone who brings beauty, warmth, and inspiration to everyone she meets.

She is currently in the hospital and has just completed surgery due to a serious infection in her inner ear that spread into her brain. What started as a health challenge became something much more urgent and required immediate medical care and ongoing treatment.

Like many creatives, she doesn’t have the financial safety net to absorb the burden of unexpected medical expenses easily. Between hospital bills, surgery costs, an Emergency Medivac (Care Flight) from Reno to Salt Lake City, and the time she will need to heal and recover, the financial strain is significant.
