Help Lauren In Her Epilepsy Fight
I'm writing to you on behalf of my daughter Lauren. She's a strong woman who has been fighting epilepsy for years, since she was 15, and now at 25 she's been fighting harder than she ever has. Her journey has gotten worse over the past few years and she's taking it all in stride. She's gone through enough antiepileptic medications to make your head spin, experienced endless side effects all without complaint, and has followed all of the recommendations set out by her neurologist. Recently she's been hospitalized and admitted to the neurologic ICU at the hospital she was newly hired at, and while she has recovered from that stay where she was intubated, she has still been suffering from uncontrolled seizures and myoclonic jerks. As a result of this she has been unable to return to work for 3 months and has been placed on unpaid leave as she is still on the probationary stage of this new nursing career. It is with a heavy heart that I am reaching out to ask for help at this time, as every dollar can make a difference. It may even be another 2 months before she may be cleared to return to work. We are working with another neurologist at this time in hope of achieving a more ideal outcome, so both prayers and donations are much appreciated. Thank you!
Let's help out our girl, we need to get her back out there taking care of her patients!
