This is my daughter Lauren.  All she has wanted for years is to be a firefighter.  She had to have surgery on her achilles after many years of softball, and was told after surgery she would have no problems going through the fire academy. Now, almost two years later, she never completely healed.  She has gone on to become an EMT, works for a wonderful company, but after even second opinions, because of the original surgeon not listening when Lauren told her something was wrong, she has been told she may never get to live out her dream. 

Recently, she heard a pop in that same tendon, and found that she has tears in it, which means she is off of work, yet again and can not pay her bills.  This is a kid that wanted to devote her life to helping other people, now I am just hoping other people will help her.
