Lauren is my longtime friend, and she’s always been someone I could count on. Right now, she’s facing a serious challenge that I know she can’t overcome alone. Lauren has diabetes, and her insurance recently stopped covering the insulin pods she needs to stay healthy and avoid dangerous complications like diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA). Without these pods, her health is at risk every single day, and it’s been incredibly stressful for both of us to see her struggle to find a solution.

The funds raised here will go directly toward helping Lauren purchase the insulin pods she needs to manage her diabetes safely. This support will give her some breathing room and peace of mind while she works on finding a more permanent way to cover her medical needs.
