My best friend, Lauren, recently had to undergo unexpected emergency surgery. One day she was fine, and the next, she was in the hospital.

She is still in California and will need to stay in the hospital for another five days. After that, she’ll need to recover at a hotel or similar accommodation until she’s strong enough to return home to her wonderful family.

You all know Lauren—she’s the most amazing, generous, and caring person who would do anything for you. No matter how difficult or exhausting something may be, Lauren will always be there to help her friends and loved ones. Now, she needs us.

Due to unfortunate bureaucratic issues, Lauren will have to pay a $7,500 insurance deductible, and another $7,500 in February for her next surgery. Let’s come together to help our wonderful friend through this very difficult time.

We’re hoping to raise $7,500 to cover the insurance deductible for this year.
