Help Lauren Conaway Experience Global Business

In creating this GoFundMe for Lauren Conaway, I had a heck of time finding one picture where she was by herself. Why?

Because she is so often highlighting the causes, the issues, and the successes of other people. And when she does so, she grabs a ton of pictures; with very few selfies in the mix.

I mean, who hasn’t been in one of Lauren’s many many pictures at events??

This person SHOWS UP! Nights, weekends, any where and any place an InnovateHER is using their powers to pursue, persuade and act to create change in Kansas City.

There is magic and possibility ahead for Lauren, coinciding with the completion of a TON of hard work at the Rockhurst University Executive Management of Business Administration, Helzberg School.

As a community we now have a chance to show up for her in an immediate actionable way.

The ask? Pledge dollars or frequent flier miles (or heck, why not both) for Lauren to attend her cohorts educational trip.

Why? Well, there is the whole “Let’s show up for Lauren” collaboration AND here are the details you will be funding:

Trip Dates: Friday, April 25 - Sunday, May 4th

Itinerary: Marrakesh, Morocco and Lisbon, Portugal

The Plan: “A structured, international travel experience offers students an opportunity to experience other cultures and observe global organizations.” EMBA Program offers an optional (but highly encouraged) trip to learn about global business since that’s a large part of the program.

Goal: $7,500

All money/miles donated will cover flight, accommodations and program costs for the trip in total.

Lauren has a scholarship that covers the academic part of her program, but the trip is considered an additional, elective expense. Like most impact entrepreneurs I know, Lauren is no exception- and there isn’t 7K to spare from a personal budget.

This is where WE come in.

The goal amount will cover flight, accommodations and program costs for the trip in total; with a little extra spending cash for unexpected incidental expenses.

The first deposit of due mid to late December which makes it perfect timing to start now.

I know my community has grown because of Lauren. I know my business has grown because of Lauren. It’s a chance to create growth for someone who does so much for so many.
