Hey I'm Lauren and I'm disabled. I live with my husband and cats. It's taken 7 months for him to find gainful employment thanks to the help of our community. Unfortunately we are behind on July's rent and now August. Our landlord has filed for eviction and will not accept July's rent without August as well. So, I am reaching out to my community for help. I need to raise at least $1000 by August 14th to stay safe. We've already sold everything of value we can to pay rent from January to June. We've reached out to rental assistance programs but they can't help us.
