Lauren, aka Gorelizard, is a Portland-based musician and DJ, a tireless harm-reduction advocate, and one of the most generous community builders many of us have ever met.

She’s spent years creating safer shows (both in Portland and Atlanta), uplifting trans folks during a time of rising hostility, and showing up for those who need care the most.

She’s an incredible cook who has literally fed hundreds, and every week she provides home-cooked meals, supplies, and compassion to our unhoused neighbors.

Now she needs our help to access a critical gender-affirming surgery so she can finally find the comfort, ease, and wholeness she’s long fought to give others.
