Hello, my name is Dennis, and I am fundraising for my mother, Laurel Dentoni.

 

About three weeks ago, my mom caught COVID, and just when she started to feel better, she developed some abdominal pain. Since she had been very sick, she thought it must be related to the COVID, but it turned out to be appendicitis! Unfortunately, by the time she got to the ER not only had her appendix ruptured but so had part of her colon. She became septic and was in very rough shape.

Thankfully, she was able to have the emergency surgery that she needed and is now recovering on IV antibiotics. She has been in the hospital for the last ten days and will hopefully be discharged in the next 3-4 days. She will need physical therapy for a few weeks as this has taken a lot out of her.

 

This situation has caused some significant financial strain, given the lost wages and the incoming hospital bills.

Our family will do everything we can to help her get through this, but any help you could give her would be greatly appreciated.
