Help Laurel Rebuild After Devastating Storm

We are reaching out to you in the wake of a devastating tropical storm that has ravaged Laurel, a small community in the Batangas Province in the Philippines our second home.

Landslides and flooding from the mountains destroyed homes, crops and essential infrastructure has been severely impacted. Many lost their lives. The aftermath has left our neighbors in dire need of assistance. We spend one to two months in this Laurel every year and many of the residents are in dire need right now of food, water and other essential supplies since their homes have been ravaged by this tropical storm. Most of you have seen what happened in North Carolina this year from the hurricane Helene and it is very similar to what happened in Laurel where landslides and water have poured down the mountain and destroyed many things on its way to the bottom. We will be in Laurel on Thursday, November 7th to begin distribution of essential items to residents and are looking for help from my friends and family here in the United States.

We are seeking to raise $5000.00 to provide immediate relief and support long-term recovery efforts. My wife and I will personally match all donations up to $5000.00. Your donations will go directly towards:

- Emergency food and water supplies

- Shoes and Clothing

- Temporary shelters for displaced families

- Medical assistance for those injured
