Two years ago, my life changed in a matter of seconds. I was in a devastating car accident that left me with catastrophic injuries. I lost most of my teeth. My top and bottom jaw were broken. One tooth was forced into my skull. My lip was split in half. I also sustained significant back injuries that I’m still recovering from today. The physical pain was overwhelming — but the aftermath has been just as heavy. Despite doing everything I was supposed to do legally and medically, I am now facing overwhelming medical and dental debt. We have been pursuing legal action, but the at-fault driver may file bankruptcy, which could leave me responsible for expenses that were never mine to carry. Much of the care I needed — especially reconstructive dental and jaw work — isn’t fully covered by insurance. These aren’t cosmetic procedures. They are essential to eating, speaking, and living without constant pain. For the past two years, I’ve focused on healing quietly and pushing forward. But the financial strain has reached a point where I cannot do this alone anymore. If you feel led to help, your support would go directly toward: Reconstructive dental surgery Ongoing jaw and back treatment Medical bill reduction and repayment Restoring basic function and stability If you’re unable to give, sharing this page means more than you know. Surviving the accident was only the first step. Rebuilding my life is the harder part. Thank you for reading. Thank you for caring. And thank you for helping me move from survival into true healing. With gratitude, Laurel
