What can we say... the past year and a half has been a time of so many ups and downs for Laura and her Family.
My name is Andrew and in Sept. 2019 I got engaged to the love of my life, Meaghan. (Laura’s Daughter) Unfortunately, our celebration was short lived. We never expected the news we would receive in October. In utter shock and devastation, Laura, (Meaghan’s mom) was diagnosed with a brain tumor. This began months of testing and treatment options which depleted her funds and prevented her from enjoying the planning of her daughter’s wedding. Laura is a single mom, supporting her household on her own now with the help of her two daughters.
However, as you all know, Laura is a fighter! Since then, she has undergone brain surgery, radiation treatments, MRI’s, Cat scans, and now, chemotherapy infusions. Her daily functions are limited now due to ongoing treatments that are taking a harsh tole on her body. She has certainly had her ups and downs, but we have hope that she can fight this, and we will do whatever it takes.

After, all this fighting, we just learned that Laura’s long time work position and title has been “Eliminated”. When her disability is up, she will be unemployed and with her illness, and treatment, she is unable to pursue a new job at this time. This leaves a huge uncertainty with not only her finances, health benefits and the continuation of treatments, but also her normal day to day, groceries, utilities, household bills and other expenses.
We are now reaching out to everyone to help give Laura a little piece of mind to help her continue fighting and focus on the most important thing – making a full recovery. Your contribution, no matter how big or small, will go towards supporting Laura and her family as they fight to kick cancer’s a**!
We sincerely thank you for your interest and support. If you have already donated Laura’s family thanks you so much. That money will help with medications, outstanding medical bills and everyday household bills.
If you are able donate, please do so. If not, please share on any platforms you can.
Thank you all from the bottom of my heart!
