Laurana and Lyle - Pea Wee and Hillbilly to their loved ones - were on a motorcyle ride when they were struck by an uninsured motorist.
Lyle tragically lost his life while Laurana was thrown far into a ditch, sustaining many significant injuries including several hip, leg, and wrist fractures and a ruptured aorta.
