Help Lauran get through Dental Hygiene school :)

Hi friends!
I'm Lauran and I am currently in the Dental Hygiene program at Ivy Tech in Anderson, IN. Most of you who know me, are well aware of this because I have most likely cried to you about it :) (Good and bad cries lol) OR, some of you have even been my patients! (Cannot thank you all enough, you are the real MVP's)
Anyway, I am nearing the start of my second and final year in the program. Currently I am still working about 5 shifts a week also. My goal going into year 2, is to take some time away from work so I can fully put all my time and effort into this very demanding program. As much as I DO NOT want to quit working, (shout out to my Sahm's Place family for supporting me and working with me and my schedule <3) I really believe it is necessary for me to be successful and make it to graduation :D. With that being said, obviously schooling of any kind comes with a pretty cost... Any money that will be contributed here will be going toward the cost of school (tuition, books, board exams, permits, licensure, and other fees) as well as the cost of living, as I will not have a source of income.
I have made it pretty far in this program and there is no stopping now! I want to be a Dental Hygienist SO BAD, not only for myself and my future but for my family.
I thought long and hard about if I wanted to take this approach or not. I was worried that it would come across the wrong way. However, after thinking about it and talking to family and friends, I decided I would give it a try. I think that this will be a good way to help for people who know me and care about me and want to help me succeed but maybe weren't quite sure how. I don't have expectations and I am in NO way going to be upset if it doesn't work out this way. If one person donates, I would call that a success! I cannot explain my gratitude and appreciation for everyone who has supported me so far, whether that be with money, physically being my patient, being a shoulder to cry on, thoughts and prayers, or a simple "Hey Lauran, how's school going?", it means the world to me. <3
