Help Laura with medical bills after her stroke

Hello, my name is Shannon and I am fundraising for my mom who suffered a stroke shortly after a fall, this all happened within the past month and it's been really scary suddenly having to take care of bills, and all the adult things (the social security office is hell lmao) that I am not used to doing.

Mom had her stroke five days after a fall down some porch steps. She was transferred from Independence KS to Tulsa OK and stayed up there for several weeks, followed by two weeks of rehab at Owasso. Mom is still struggling and needs more help, so she is being transferred close to home (thank goodness) for extra rehab.

Any donation will go straight to medical bills, abundance bills, and nursing home bills. We are uninsured though working to get medicaid and disability started, but those things take time. And wouldn't ya know it? Mom was scheduled to receive medicare in June. I suppose that is how life is, though. Unfair.

Anything left over will be used to pay my monthly rent. I only work two hours a week due to a brain condition, as well as vision problems. I relied on my moms social security to pay for rent, and that may be taken from us
