Help Laura with ANCA & end-stage renal disease

I had to get the GREEN Light before I shared this news and knew how much to share with you.
Everyone knows Laura Yvette Sutton Johnson, the mother of four: Devonta Sutton, Hezekiah Sutton, Lauryia Sutton, and Jarrel Fields. She has always been a hard worker, having worked in various places and traveling jobs. Her passion job is currently in the medical field for over 20 years.
Laura is currently in the hospital, courageously fighting to restore her health.
On August 28, 2024, our lives changed forever. Laura was admitted to the ICU with upper respiratory failure, anemia, and ANCA-associated vasculitis, a rare autoimmune disease that has turned this family’s life upside down. ANCA-vasculitis is a challenging condition that causes inflammation of the blood vessels, leading to organ damage and a host of severe symptoms. It started attacking her kidneys, and there were no signs of any underlying conditions.
However, the frequent doctor appointments, dialysis three to four times a week, and hospitalizations have made it impossible for her to maintain full time job. Unfortunately, her income (SSI) has not been approved yet. As of October 9, 2024, Laura has been hospitalized most frequently. She was diagnosed with sepsis, caused by Staphylococcus in her blood. Her renal insufficiency has progressed to the point where she has started dialysis through a tunneled hemodialysis catheter. She urgently needs long-term hemodialysis access.
Last week, she received a vein mapping ultrasound that demonstrated very small veins in her bilateral upper extremities. Unfortunately, these veins are not suitable for any fistula, so we discussed left upper extremity AV graft placement as well as the risk, benefits, and alternatives to the procedure. These alternatives include bleeding, infection, nerve injury, and the need for reoperation.
Both the fistula and the catheter were removed on Friday to clear the infection, but they will need to be replaced soon to receive dialysis. Please let the Lord touch your heart and donate whatever you can.
Philippians 4:19 states, “God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”
