My name is Laura, and I’m reaching out because I’m facing one of the toughest times of my life. On December 25, 2025, I was in a no-fault car crash that completely changed everything for me. The other driver totaled my car, which was my only source of income as a Door Dasher, and I suffered serious injuries to my arms, shoulders, back, and especially my neck. Since the accident, I’ve spent most of my days on the couch, unable to work or even move around much due to the pain. I’m currently in a personal injury case, but the process is slow and I haven’t received any settlement or disability checks yet.
This isn’t the first time I’ve faced challenges with my health. In 2020, I won a personal injury case after being hurt while working at FedEx, which led to rotator cuff surgery, pain shots, and months of physical therapy. Unfortunately, in August 2024, another driver crashed into my car and assaulted me, leading to even more rounds of physical therapy and an epidural in my spine to manage nerve pain. Since January 2024, I’ve been in twelve no-fault car collisions, each one adding to my trauma and making recovery even harder. Just eight days ago, I had a PRP injection in my shoulder, and I’m now going through physical therapy for the third time. I’m exhausted, in pain, and doing my best to keep going, but it’s been incredibly hard.
Right now, I need help to cover my rent until my settlement and disability checks start coming in. I received an eviction notice on February 6, 2026, and have 28 days to pay my February rent. I’m able to cover my other bills with what I earn on social media, but I can’t make rent on my own. My friends encouraged me to open this fundraiser, and I’m reaching out for support to help me stay in my home while I recover. Any help you can give is deeply appreciated, and I’m so grateful for your kindness.
