Hello, my name is Laura. I'm a single mom living in St. Petersburg, FL. I have two cats that I am heartbroken at the idea of rehoming and even more lost on not having a safe home for my daughter. I have a severe anxiety disorder and agoraphobia that keeps me from doing what normal people can. I've worked so hard on my own to survive, but I need your help. I lost my job two years ago and have been trying to make ends meet, and despite working multiple part time gigs (delivery work, streaming, social media content creation and management) I still can't pay my bills. I'm terrified losing access to my meds and my home. This is the second fundraiser I have created because my family, who I do not have contact with for my own personal reasons, found the original.

I'm raising $6000 in funds for 3 months rent to help get me through the summer. A small update is that I found a part time job but it's only about $300/month which barely covers food and gas for the month here in Florida. I am continuing to reach out (cold call) companies and apply for jobs, but the job market it a disaster. The economy has hit so many folks hard, and I'm grateful for any support I get. Anything above the goal amount will go toward vet bills for Coco and Millie, paying future bills, and paying down debt and ensuring I have a safe home for my kiddo.
