Some of you know I have been struggling with health issues, but for those who don't, I injured my back in October 2021 and have been dealing with ongoing pain ever since. I've tried everything to fix the problem except surgery, which isn't an option until I lose more weight—a challenge made even harder by my Hashimoto's. Despite my best efforts, losing weight has been incredibly difficult, and my back issues have only gotten worse. I've been working with Rollar Weight Loss for the past year, and while they've been amazing, my insurance company recently told me that, although surgeries are now covered, I would still need to pay a large deductible. That amount is simply out of reach for me and many others who medically need this surgery.

Living with chronic pain has made it nearly impossible to find work I can physically do. My sciatica means I can't stand for more than a few minutes at a time, and even walking short distances is painful. I need a sit-down job, but those opportunities are hard to come by. Usually, I can stretch my market earnings until tax time, but this year my tax return is going straight to pay for my van, which I need for my market work. The new vehicle payment has added to my stress, and I feel like I'm drowning, unable to get ahead.

I'm reaching out because I don't want to lose my van or fall further behind. I'm putting myself out there and asking for help—any support would be greatly and forever appreciated!
