Our good friend & dedicated Stony Brook RN Laura Cortes, along with her husband Marco & dog Mala suffered devastating damage from the Long Island storm in the early morning hours of Monday, August 18th 2024. Their entire apartment, their car & all of their personal belongings were destroyed with the significant rain & flooding.
