Help Laura Jensen Heal and Recover

Two medical emergencies very close together have stopped Laura Jensen in her tracks. A wonderful friend and animal rescue advocate (@zeus_the_protector on IG), Laura is not one to ask for help. She would much rather be the one helping. But, the circumstances she is facing are making it impossible to care for the day-to-day things we all take for granted. And she needs help.

First, a freak accident caused a serious leg break. Surgery had to wait due to the severity of the break, so she was sent home for a week. Then, before surgery could happen, she experienced a flare-up of a serious autoimmune disorder that took her back to the ER. After almost 2 weeks in the hospital and surgery on her leg, Laura is still fighting the autoimmune complications. They need resolution before she will be able to begin rehab for her leg. And she still faces another surgery for her autoimmune disease.

Thankfully, her medical coverage is working for her (so far). But, she has a long recovery road ahead of her and there are expenses that insurance does not cover. We want to help her cover the costs of medical transport (for upcoming appointments and surgeries), long-term boarding care for her precious pets, and the various supplies and recovery items not covered by insurance, as well as some repairs to her home for safety once she can return home.
