Help Laura in the Fight of Her Life

Hi, my name is Gale, and I've started this Go Fund Me for my dear friend from middle school, Laura Cobian Collins. After a diagnosis of endometrial cancer that went into remission in 2019, the cancer has returned and metastasized to her peritoneum & omentum. She is awaiting the results of a biopsy on her lymph nodes to see if it has traveled further and if she is also dealing with another type of cancer.

Fortunately, she has a wonderful oncologist and her loving husband, James, who is a disabled veteran, by her side. She is also hanging tight to her faith. But as you can imagine, this is immensely overwhelming and difficult. Despite having insurance, the costs of frequent chemo, scans, further surgeries and testing are enormous. She also has to travel from Tennessee to Kentucky to meet with her medical team, get chemotherapy treatments and pick up medications, which is expensive, especially with the current gas prices.

Laura needs love, prayers, and financial assistance from her community to help with the cost of medical bills, gas, and basic necessities.
