Help Laura fight stage four cancer

Hi there! My name is Crystal Placeres and I am here to help my mom fight her battle with stage four cancer. And I hope that you will all join me. ❤️

My mom, Laura Eichenberg Bailey, was diagnosed with cancer on June 17, 2024. It was devastating as we were told it was already at a stage four. It had spread from the lower part of her body all the way to her lungs. She treated here in Palm Bay and ended up in the hospital for a few days after her first chemo treatment.

She then decided then it was time to seek treatment at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, which is two and a half hours away. My mom has health insurance which is supposed to cover her bills at 80 percent. She's responsible for the twenty percent her health insurance does not cover.

To date the twenty percent of her medical bills are well over $10,000.00. She travels two and a half hours to the clinic and sometimes is forced to spend the night.

As you all know, Laura is self employed making decorative window shutters. She has been unable to work her full schedule since the cancer.

We just left the clinic a few days ago and were told testing showed my mom’s cancer has almost all disappeared and the treatment is working.
