Hi friends and family. As most of you know my name is Laura and I was just diagnosed with Breast Cancer. We are still in the early days but what we know so far is I have Stage 0 Ductal Carcinoma in Situ Grade 2. This means I have cancer in my milk duct and we believe it has not yet spread. I will be getting an MRI and consulting with specialists to determine our path forward to rid my body of this disease. 

If you’re close to me you know I have encountered massive struggles over the last year. I was laid off in February of 2023. I hoped to take time to work on getting healthy. From that moment to now my health has been worse than ever. I underwent a laparoscopic surgery to determine if I have endometriosis and we found that I not only have that but a host of other problems. I was set to schedule a hysterectomy when I got the call that I would need a biopsy of my right breast. I was told my pain issues will have to be placed on hold while we navigate my cancer diagnosis. In August of 2023 my husband left his job because it involved travel and my health was too poor to care for myself or my children on my own. I’m humbly asking for help while I go through treatment for breast cancer and then my hysterectomy. Parish my husband is currently pursing full time work and I will need funds to help take care of me and my babies while he is at work. Specifically I hope to use the funds for extra holistic care for myself such as vitamin IVs and other treatments to help me endure the upcoming surgeries and treatments. We also would like to transform our playroom at home into a healing room for me to recover in comfortably. It would be massively helpful to have house cleaning, babysitting and meal help as well. From the bottom of my heart I thank you all for the kindness you have shown me and continue to show. If you have it in your heart to help I will be eternally thankful. My heart is broken for my children and the impact this illness will have on them. They are the reason I have the strength to ask for this help. Love you all and God bless.
