Help Laura Eskilson In Her Cancer Battle

Our beloved friend, mother of two beautiful daughters, and long-time member of the Chicago area running community, Laura Eskilson, is unfortunately facing a health crisis. Laura was recently diagnosed with a malignant tumor in the deep lobe of her parotid gland. She will soon be undergoing surgery and other treatments. 

Even with great health insurance, cancer treatments can quickly get expensive. The goal of this Go Fund Me is to help Laura with expenses while she recovers from surgery and undergoes continued treatment. Throughout the treatment plan, Laura will be away from work for an extended time, causing a reduction in income. 

The monies raised will be used to cover the cost of Laura’s treatment, medications and medical supplies as well as cleaning/sanitary services, meal preparation/delivery and other unforeseen expenses that may come up.
