Help Laura, Brett, and Brea Find a New Home

Hi, my name is Laura. I’m reaching out during a very difficult and emotional time for my family.

After living in the same comfortable, affordable home for over a decade, my partner Brett, his daughter Brea, and I are being unexpectedly displaced. We’ve poured years of love and memories into this home—it’s been our safe place. It’s also been home to our large family of cats and two wonderful dogs, who are now facing displacement alongside us.

We’ve started the pre-approval process to buy a modest home, but we’ve just been given 30 days to vacate our current one. With housing costs the way they are, it's incredibly hard to find something safe, affordable, and pet-friendly in such a short time—let alone come up with the down payment and closing costs needed to secure a new place.

We’re doing everything we can, but the clock is ticking. Our hope is to raise enough to help us take this leap toward a new home where we can stay and have some stability again.
