Help Laura Battle Stage 4 Cancer

A cough. It all started with a cough. Laura knew something was wrong, and after months of asking doctors for a CT scan, one finally listened in November 2024. What the scans revealed were multiple tumors and nodes on her lungs, as well as tumors on her lymph nodes. After a biopsy was conducted, the results came back quickly with an answer that no one wanted to hear: With no family history of lung cancer and being a non-smoker the diagnosis of Stage 4 small cell carcinoma lung cancer came as a shock. While this diagnosis would cripple many people, Laura didn’t allow it to change who she is. She immediately leaned on her faith and on her new husband, Jesse, to figure out a way to fight the cancer. This diagnosis will not define her.

With prayers and the support of her loved ones, Laura began receiving treatment through various methods, including medications and dietary changes. Following her doctors' advice, Laura switched to a fruit and vegetable-based diet. She stopped working to focus on strengthening her body, not only to battle the cancer but also to continue being an amazing mother to her 7-year-old daughter.

We are asking for help for Laura so that she can continue taking care of both her body and mind. Due to medical bills, prescriptions, the increase in her grocery bill, and not being able to work we are asking for donations.
