- Hello, my name is Laura and my dog's name is Moose. We were poisoned with a chemical, thallium. Right now, we lost both my cars, my apartment, my job, and almost mine and my dog's life. I was so sick I lost my jobs. Let's put it like this: I lost everything, and we are recovering in someone else's home. I am trying to get back on my feet, but it's a hard road right now. I feel so alone, no family. I don't know who to trust. Who would do something like this, especially to a dog? He can't eat hard food; the inside of his mouth has sores all over. I'm losing all my hair, have no energy, and have so many doctor's appointments. We would appreciate any help that is given. Even prayers would help. Thank you in advance. Moose thanks you too. I know everyone is not bad. Right now, I want to trust people, but when you don't know where and who it came from, it is a game changer. You start trying to figure out who did it. It started to make me feel really loopy at first. No one believed me. I felt so alone and still do. My heart hurts watching Moose hurt like this. He is so innocent.
