My daughter, Laura, her husband, Johan, their rescue dogs Lady and Benny and rescue kitties Fortran and Nugget are very grateful to have safely evacuated their Altadena neighborhood, but their beloved home has been completely destroyed by the Eaton Canyon wildfire.

They lost not only their first home they had just bought and all their possessions, but feel their dream of starting a family this year has been shattered.

To add to the stress, their little dog, Lady, has a large abdominal mass on her spleen that was discovered on ultrasound the day before the fires began. Lady is a very good girl and will have surgery to remove this.

We are kindly asking for ANY donations you can comfortably provide, no matter how small. Every single donation is greatly appreciated!

Laura and Johan are very hardworking, compassionate people and never thought they would be in a position to have to ask for help, but that unfortunately is their new reality.
