Hi! My name is Rebecca and this fundraiser is for my friend, Lara Bassam Al-Najjar. I met Lara online two years ago and have verified her identity.

Lara's Story:

Lara is an eighteen-year-old from Gaza. Due to the constant violence and destruction, Lara and her family have lost access to employment and their home; now she and her nine family members live in one tent together.

Lara has an illness called gastroenteritis; because of this, Lara needs medication weekly. However, Lara and her family don't even have money for food, let alone medication. Lara and her family often go days without food because they have to pay for the land that their tent sits on; this has caused Lara and her family a large amount of stress and anxiety.

These reasons are why this campaign exists for Lara. Anything you send will go towards necessities, rent, medication, and food. Thank you so much for your support!
