Hi, I’m Surayyah—a mother, a widow, and someone who’s always worked hard to create peace and stability for my family.

After losing my husband — followed by a recent job loss, I’m navigating a major life transition. I'm currently based in Los Angeles, where the rising cost of living has made it unsustainable to stay housed.

I’m preparing to relocate to Atlanta—a more supportive and aligned environment where I can rebuild stability for myself and my children.

This move is both a practical and spiritual next step. While I work to secure new income, I’m also laying the foundation for The Return, a healing space for Melanated women navigating grief, and transition. It’s a vision birthed from my own journey through grief, and now—through this transition — I’m choosing to honor it while caring for my family’s immediate needs.
