**Help Bring The Quaint Librarian to Life — A Traveling Book Experience Born from Story, Memory, and Imagination**

Some stories don’t begin with a business plan.

They begin in quiet moments… in memories… and in the people who shape us long before we realize it.

For me, that person was my mom.

My love for books, stories, and imagination started with her. She had a way of making the world feel not only softer, but huge with possibility, even in difficult seasons of life. When she passed in 2020, I found myself holding onto the things that connected me to her most. What made me feel closest to her was keeping her massive book collection and reading her books. Because they were things she had once held in her hands, it felt like I was holding a piece of her every time I picked one up to read.

Five years ago, that grief and love began to take shape in a very unexpected way: I started creating art from unloved books. Books that might have otherwise been forgotten were transformed into something new—something beautiful again. That was the beginning of *The Quaint Librarian*.

What started as book art slowly became something more.

A belief grew in me that books deserve more than being discarded or forgotten. They deserve to be beautiful again—reimagined, restored in meaning, and given new life.

To create connection. And to spark a sense of wonder in people.

Now, I am taking the next step in that journey.

*The Quaint Librarian* is becoming a traveling bookstore—a mobile, whimsical space designed to bring stories directly into the community. A place where books are not just sold, but experienced. Where people can slow down, explore, and discover—or rediscover—the feeling of falling in love with reading.

It will be primarily focused on young adults and adults, thoughtfully curated to make reading feel accessible, inviting, and a little bit magical again. As it grows, it will also open the door for special moments and experiences for children—continuing the cycle of imagination that first inspired it.

This is not just a bookstore.

It is a continuation of a story that began with my mom, grew through creativity, and is now taking its first real physical form.

To bring *The Quaint Librarian* to life, I am raising funds to support:
• The first inventory of carefully curated books
• Initial setup for a mobile trailer or truck
• Materials for community pop-up events
• Basic startup costs and permits

My goal is to launch the first traveling pop-up experience—something that feels like stepping into a small pocket of storybook magic in the middle of everyday life.

If this vision speaks to you, I would be deeply grateful for your support. Every contribution helps transform this from a dream into something real that can be shared with the community.

And if you’re not able to donate, sharing this story means just as much.

Thank you for being part of this beginning.
