The desperate need to form an organization that can act as a "hold over" for the many dogs that are adoptable that have been dumped, saved or found, but ran out of time securing a rescue "pulling them" from a shelter, or securing a solid foster/adopter, is VERY REAL.  These dogs get euthanized! We are launching the PhillyFIT Halfway House for Animals to help buy (loving, caring, supportive) gentle time for these animals by housing them at our location and giving those animals who are fighting for their chance to live...some time! Our pets will be not only given all of the attention, food/water and care they need, but they will be safe and comfortable in our warm, cozy, house-like enviornment. PhillyFIT Halfway House will be an intricate part of these animals transitioning to the world they deserve to live-in. With dreamy accommodations and endless human touch/attention, our animals will begin to thrive the moment we take possession of them. Please support our first initiative, raising the funds to get our application and begin our good works! Next, we will be securing our location and fully launch. NOTE: our organization will be posting every single item that it is spending money on for these animals so our supporters can see where their love donation is going and how it is being used. 100% full transparency. UPDATE: We met our first goal, we have applied for our501c3 and State License! Now working on our next goal to build our building / home for the animals!
