Hi, my name is Blaine, and I'm the founder of Tav Labs Development, a small independent software businesss based in Calgary, Alberta.
I'm raising funds to help with the launch of Tavari, a fully offline AI companion app for Android.
Tavari is being built for people who want the benefits of AI without handing their conversations, memories, voice input, or personal data to cloud servers. The app is designed to run locally on the user's device, with offline AI inference, offline speech recognition, offline text-to-speech with unique voice model, local memory with personality formation, and NO INTERNET REQUIRED FOR USE.
Unlike many AI apps, Tavari is not designed around subscriptions, cloud services or accounts, or remote data collection. The goal is simple: a private AI companion that walks beside the user while keeping their data on their own device.
The backend for Tavari is already largely built and functioning. I am currently working toward the Android launch version, including frontend integration, testing, Play Store preparation, app listing materials, and launch marketing.
Funds raised will help cover:
- Android launch and testing costs
- Frontend development support
- Advertising and promotion for launch
- A proper website/domain for Tav Labs Development
- App store assets, business costs, and software expenses
- Future groundwork for Tavari-compatible sensory mode and smartglasses develpment
Tavari is currently using a prototype voice model while the system continues to improve. The goal is to keep refining the app after launch while preserving the core promise: private, offline, user-owned AI companionship.
