Honoring My Mom’s Legacy: Silver Lining of Hope, Inc
Today—on what would have been my mom’s 47th birthday—I’m launching Silver Lining of Hope, Inc., a nonprofit founded in her name.
Silver Lining of Hope, Inc will include several focus areas: fatal domestic violence, homicide case review, missing persons advocacy, strangulation prevention, and forensic support for families.
What We’re Building:
- Trauma-informed guidance for families
- Review of medical records, autopsies, and police reports by qualified professional volunteers
- Advocating for justice, accountability, stronger laws + policies
- Public education and training for frontline professionals
Your support will help us:
- Complete 501(c)(3) nonprofit filing
- Assist families navigating suspicious deaths and disappearances
- Assist agencies with current protocols
- Build a digital resource hub and forensic toolkits
- Recruit and train expert advisors to support investigations
- Be a voice for systemic reform

Legal Status: We are a registered nonprofit in Indiana, preparing our IRS 501(c)(3) application. If approved, donations made on or after May 16, 2025, may be tax-deductible.
