My name is David P. Johnson, the creator of Sally Spectre the Musical. This imaginative new musical combines exciting visual elements (like Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas) and a wonderful musical score with a rich and relevant story about overcoming trauma and fear, and the whole thing takes place in the afterlife of a precocious little girl!

The show has seen many drafts and years of development, collecting awards and recognition along the way. The opportunity to present the show in New York has now become a reality. I'm asking for a little help getting the funding together. The production will cost much more than what I am looking to raise here. I just want to offset the cost while raising awareness and support for the show.

Among the accolades, the show was a finalist for the coveted Richard Rodgers Award a few years ago. Please help me get this show launched and published so that this dark, humorous, and deeply moving story can find stages all over the world.
